Caleb totally got our vibe. He and his team created such beautiful content, and we honestly didn't even really notice that they were there or have to do anything out of the ordinary for them to get great photos and footage. The "stand here" and "pose like this" was kept to an absolute minimum, and the result was magical photos/video that could've easily been twice the price! I had no idea what to expect from a wedding photographer/videographer and was nervous about how it'd all turn out since I'm pretty particular about these things, but Rippetoe Studios knocked it out of the park. They've given us beautiful memories of the best day of our lives (so far) and I couldn't be more grateful. Book them, you won't regret it!

Caleb is amazing. I was very picky about who I chose, and had wanted a company that provided both photography and videography with reasonable prices. I also had a very specific look in mind when I wanted my engagement and wedding photos in that I wanted it to be less staged and more candid. Caleb captured exactly what I wanted perfectly - his style is quite different than others and it was exactly what I was looking for. He is so easy to work with. More importantly, he is quick to getting you quality photos and videos. Our engagement photos took about 3 days to get back to us. Our wedding photos came about 3-4 weeks after our event and the videos a week after that! Our photos would have probably come sooner but we were leaving for our honeymoon so we told him no rush. Also, Caleb is a perfectionist. He edits all of the photos and actually puts the videos together himself. We have no regrets and couldn't have picked a better photographer/company to capture our special day. Absolutely recommend 100%!

Caleb was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding process! When we first talked to him on the phone and he talked about prioritizing the emotions and feelings of the day over everything else we had a feeling we had found the right person. When we laughed our way through the awkwardness that can be an engagement shoot and ended up with some awesome photos because of Caleb's creativity and just general attitude of "up for anything" that led us to awesome sites in Redwood Regional, we were even more confident. But now that we've seen just how much of the love and emotion of our day is captured in the beautiful images and amazing highlight video, we are sure, Caleb was the best. He valued all the same things as us and it rang true in how he captured our day. Plus he is a friendly and down to earth guy that we had a ton of fun spending time with (which is important for someone you're paying to be following you around all day." We genuinely had fun with Caleb and his crew, so much so, we told our friends to hire him and got to hang out again a month later and their big day!

Caleb and Denise were a dream! As an art photographer myself, I had a hard time finding someone with work I liked. But I was so excited when I found them! All of our photos, both our engagement and wedding day, came out absolutely stunning!! Even though we had a smaller sized wedding, I loved having two photographers there to really make sure we captured every moment. Both of them were an absolute pleasure to work; they gave just enough direction and were funny too. We really could not recommend them enough.

Hiring Caleb and Denise to videograph our wedding was one of the best decisions I ever made for our wedding day. They were an amazing duo that understood how best to capture our day without being in the way of everything happening. From the beginning of our interaction through the last goodbye, Caleb and Denise were professional, friendly, adept and just all around awesome. Seeing Caleb and his team's final product with all of our pictures and videos brought the biggest smile to our faces. Caleb focused so much on the people and relationships that were built at our wedding that it was really great to see and remember so many different people coming together and connecting from vaious parts of our lives. Caleb took the time to get to know us as individuals as well as a couple, and shooting engagement shots with him definitely made the day of feel more natural and smooth. Caleb and his team captured images from so many different angles during the reception and ceremony that I honestly thought "how did he get there?" or " I don't remember them even being right there." His team took the time to produce a quality product and were super communicative throughout the entire process. We first met Caleb via video chat while planning our wedding. After maybe 5 minutes on the call, we absolutely knew he was the photographer for us. He has a great sense of humor and was straightforward and open with communication. We did our engagement shoot with him and, after spending an entire day wandering around SF taking photos, we could not have been more confident in our choice. Caleb had a great way of making us feel comfortable even though neither of us was used to getting professional photos taken.

As is the story for most couples in 2020, our plans changed because of COVID-19. Caleb ended up being the only “vendor” at our wedding. He stuck with us through a bunch of changes and fit in seamlessly with our small group of friends. He somehow took a zillion photos without us even noticing. Caleb fell right into the laid-back vibe of our day yet still managed to exceed our expectations. He truly went above and beyond for us. Caleb is thoughtful, creative, and generally brilliant. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our photographer, Caleb, his prices were affordable, he was always on time (and patient with how late we were), and he got our albums back within two weeks of our wedding. We are amazed at how many of our wedding pictures are frame worthy photos! Caleb’s photos and editing will bring you back to the real emotions of those moments rather than a cheesy grin. He and his sister were laid back and easy to get along with, they totally knew how to go with the flow, to keep the day easy! Caleb was communicative & easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and the engagement shoot was a great way for us to get to know one another and allowed us to get comfortable in front of the camera. Their photos have a modern edge that we love and we weren’t asked to do all the traditional (imho outdated) wedding poses.
