Cassandra & Kristiann // A San Francisco City Hall wedding ft. The Golden Gate Bridge
San Francisco city hall is a busy little beehive of a place. At any given time I can look across the huge central room and see five more versions of me running around also frantically taking photos. Couples pass in alternating black and white garb, all there for a singular purpose; turning the page of a new chapter. It was here that I met Cassandra and Kristiann, two beautiful people who had flown in from Ireland to tie the knot uniting their lives. With just a few friends around, each tasked with some job ranging from live-streamer to organizer, that is exactly what they did.

Trisha & Danny // A Sacramento Wedding
This story is about a table. I’m not entirely sure where The Table came from, or how often he was used. If I had to venture a guess The Table lived most of his life in a garage, folded together neatly and stored out of the way. He would come out every now and then, someone rushing in to whisk him away and hastily throwing some cloth over him. He wasn’t pretty, very utilitarian, and though his life wasn’t active the few times he came out there was a guaranteed party.
It was mid May, not exactly hot but maybe a bit warmer than comfortable. It was here that The Table found himself being set up neatly in a little park. The park itself was large, a few sports fields, a playground and some picnic tables nestled just off a lazy street in west Sacramento. People bustled about him. A vase, water bottle, some knickknacks and a computer were shuffled around. He enjoyed holding things, feeling useful. Everyone seemed so joyful, excitement filled the air.
Trisha and Danny hadn’t planned on having their wedding this Saturday in May. A pandemic was in full swing, but in a stroke of luck their family was passing through Sacramento on the same day. In the span of a couple days they planned an impromptu celebration. It featured masks, a rather lengthy Zoom call, and a good bit of distance between families. But I’ll let the photos tell the rest.

Sabrina & Andrew // A San Francisco Engagement Session ft. Conservatory of Flowers & Golden Gate Bridge
Wandered around San Francisco, ate pizza. The usual. But for real, check out the Conservatory of Flowers. It’s free every first Tuesday of the month, and so few people were there. There’s so many cool parts of San Francisco that not a lot of people know about (myself included). Anyway, here’s some pics ft. two real neat people in a few real neat spaces.

Kendra & Jordan // A Berkeley Wedding ft. The Brazilian Room & The University of California Botanical Garden
As Jordan read his vows during the ceremony there was a moment, on the quiet hilltop in Berkeley, that he was drowned out by motorcycles passing by below. At first he tried to power through it but the attempt didn’t last long. His parents, respectfully sitting in silence moments before, burst out laughing. The crowd joined in. Life doesn’t care about your plans, and that’s what makes this whole thing enjoyable. Here are a few snips from that day in the beginning of November, at the beautiful Brazilian Room.

Madeleine & Nick // A San Francisco City Hall Engagement Session
San Francisco City Hall was where my wife and I tied the knot, so getting to go back and go through the process of getting Nick and Madeleine’s wedding papers was pretty special. After wading through the city hall crowds we wandered around downtown, grabbed some food, and took some cool pics.
